Viking bikes was established in Wolverhampton 1908. The Viking brand has a very impressive history and a reputation for top quality road bikes. Over the years some of England's famous road racers chose to ride with the Viking team. When Viking set about designing a bike they always work to the same belief that is to produce a bike with. quality, style and durability.
Today Viking bikes still work to the same core qualities but have extended their range including a popular hybrid range like the Viking Trieste. They have increased their range to suit the ever increasing demands of changing lifestyles.
The Viking Trieste is a new model for 2015. The Trieste is basically an upgraded and updated model from the 2014 Treviso. The main difference been that the Trieste has been fitted with some some extra gears. The frame on the Viking Trieste has road racing geometry even though the bike comes fitted with a flat bar.
The Trieste has been designed for riders who want the speed and mileage durability of a road bike but also been created with comfort and practicality in mind.
The upgraded 24 speed system features Shimano STI push button gear shifters for effortless gear changing and braking, 32 hole aero rims with quick release hubs and Shimano derailleurs.
The larger 700c wheels, narrow tyres and higher gearing make it easier to achieve and maintain higher speeds, than a mountain bike or hybrid.
